💓💭 hello angels, health hack 1️⃣6️⃣ today is all about the DRINKS and the FLUIDS, the liquids you are taking in.. – just have a think about the drinks you take in over the course of the day 🤳🏻🙈

Maybe this needs to change?⤵️

Why change your drinks to low calorie or healthier options⤵️

➡️save money as there is now a sugar tax!

➡️save extra unnecessary calories.

➡️lots of drinks have added sugar meaning added calories which this can maybe what is stopping your weight loss.

➡️the extra fluid calories all add up, it maybe adding adirional sgar to your diet which is being stored.

➡️no micronutrients – no additional health/micros being added into your diet.

➡️they maybe causing a sugar spike and drop.

➡️they maybe affective your water levels.

➡️they maybe causing headaches.

➡️does the drink provide you with health benefits, comfort or just a good taste?

FramFest is TODAY!

Hello angels, it’s that time again

It is FramFest 2018!

As many of you know my wonderful mother who is like superwomen and is putting on a mini festival every year for the past 5 years now. This will be the 6th fabulous festival.

And now I say mini but I don’t know why because it keeps growing every year!

Thousands of people attended last year which was amazing!! These greatest thing about it is that my mother does not earn a penny from doing this work she gives it all to charity, so admirable!

Some of you may have heard of it, some not, so here is the low down the day is amazing but I am biased but it consists of around 8 acts/bands/performances; ranging from bands like The Vigilantes, The Ultraviolet, Fusion, Scapa Flow , The Strellies ,Status Quote, to solo acts such as Matty Haynes, Phoebe Ophila to acts like 50 sniffs and Stuart playing the ukulele.

This year will be –

The music ranges from all years and genres fitting for all the family.

The field is based in Frampton, hence ‘FRAM’ fest, it’s the field very next St Marys Frampton church and the whole thing is organised by its committee.

No one earns a penny it goes all into the church. The field is full of things to do also while listening to the music it changes every year but most of the times things such as, a hotdog and burger stand spend the day with us and also, a sweet stall, potato chip stall, curry, stir fry and Mexican style food stall, a licensed bar, a forever living stall, a vintage clothing and furniture stalls, fair rides, bouncy slides, cakes, doughnuts,skinners ice-cream and I’m not joking so much more for a little field and festival it’s a rather big turnout!

So the people, YOU the people make the day, the bands, all the help, the committee and of course you guys that come along adding the money to the church and for charity you make the day. The sun shines and everyone bring picnics, blankets, chairs and alcohol and spend the day from around 1pm to 9pm.

The doors open at 1pm and the bands begin at 2pm so you have time to get down, ready and settle ready to watch all the performances. When I think about how much there is to do, it would be a great day even without the bands everyone is chatting and having fun and it brings families out and friends together. It fit all age groups all day long. The day does finish around 9pm so pretty late and usually with a DJ with fab music to get you ready for a night out after maybe?

It’s always a Saturday in June every year and this year it will be on the 23rd June 2018.

Ticket prices so this year the price will be for an adult £6 for a children £2

Remember all the money goes to charity so you doing a great cause and in trade for a fabulous day at FRAMFEST.

💘🤳🏻😊hello angels hack 1️⃣6️⃣ is all about meal timings 📅⌚️ I just eat when I know I should & when I want to eat.. ➡️when you eat your food is fine it doesn’t matter what time of day you eat your food & everyone is different so you do what works for you but it’s good to trial different ways to know when to eat for you as an individual ⤵️so think about the time you wake up, do you want/need breakfast or can you wait till your hungry, do you need that snack, time to have a filling lunch and dinner⤵️

➡️Does it work for you or are you rushing your food, or are you not eating enough or are you not eating when you need too.. are you really hungry when you eat or are you just eating? Things to think about as I run through my pointers today💭

➡️Listen to your body. EAT when you are hungry, drink when you are thirsty, eat when you know you will need the energy

➡️Drink more to help keep you full between meals. ➡️Diet is a challenge, I need you to know one thing. STOP starving yourself & eat NUTRIENT rich food

➡️Most people eat 2-3 big meals per day. They go six, seven, sometimes, eight hours without food.

➡️When you don’t eat for a while your blood sugar really drops and then when you eat after six, seven hours your blood sugar spikes

➡️When your blood sugar spikes that causes there to be excess insulin in your blood. When there is excess insulin in your blood your body stores fat more easily, this can also make you feel light-headed and unwell and doesn’t work for many people

➡️Eat portion controlled, balanced meals every so often through the day, when you feel hungry, when you know you may need it (pre-workout/post workout)

➡️By eating this way, you’ll effortlessly speed up your metabolism also, you will give yourself constant energy and work to the best you can

➡️Think of it like this.. if you have a campfire burning and you don’t add wood to the fire, eventually the campfire will burn out!

➡️When you work out, when you need to eat/want to eat, you can become accountable, you can be #consistent with this too, & a routine of meals, and meal times can occur💓I hope these little #pointers help you busy bees on this #Thursday afternoon. Cheeky Chest Update.. (I have a heart condition!)

Hello angels now if your not up to date with my cheeky chest blog posts I suggest reading that or checking out my cheeky chest YouTube video to get you up to speed with where I’m at with my condition then continue reading below.. we have an update.

Now some of you may already know but I know a lot of my life is on social media and some of my friends in the blogging world do care so I thought it’s best to make a post and keep everyone updated I will also do a YouTube Video soon along side this when I feel ready to get back to recording!

So Tuesday I was due some more tests just continuing the normal investigation that has been going on for 10 years after seeing so many doctors and consultants it’s gone from being hormonal, growing, muscle and skeletal issue – my frame being to small to my hearts to big, and more one thing after the other. This week they found it. They realised. They finally found the result.

I have a heart condition name bicuspid aortic valve I don’t know enough about it to do a full blog post on it yet so I won’t. I want to have a clear mind myself and give you guys the right information. But it’s to do with me having one less whole/valve in my aorta than the normal heart.

It was one hell of a shock I’m just trying to come to terms with the fact I actually have this. My family of course are upset and angry but we are such a strong unit I know I will be ok.

They plan to put me under my own cardiologist for life and monitor me. Once I see him soon I will have more answers to what I do now, how this changes my life, what can I do to help it or change it etc. Whether I need medication, or surgery etc.

I have such wonderful support and I’ve joined a Bicuspid Aortic Valve group/forum and the people on there have been fab so far. I get a lot of support online and through the blogging world so I wanted to share.

I will keep all you angels posted. For now I want to enjoy my weekend at FramFest and think about this later, also I want to relax and sleep and now I know why I’m always tired, I have an excuse to sleep all weekend.
